What is the Redragon K617?

The Redragon K617 is an ultra-compact 61-key mechanical keyboard tailored for competitive FPS setups and minimalist spaces. By removing the numpad, function row, and navigation cluster, it channels everything into raw desk efficiency and essential gameplay controls:

• Minimalist 60% Form Factor (61 Keys) providing expansive space for wide, low-DPI mouse swipes.

• Quiet, Linear Red Mechanical Switches offering smooth, feather-light keypresses with zero clicky noise.

• Hot-Swappable PCB (3-Pin Outemu) allowing switch replacement and experimentation without soldering.

• Modern Two-Tone Grey Colorway delivering a clean, sleek look that stands out from standard black plastic.

• Detachable USB-C Connection for hassle-free transport, neat cable routing, and instant plug-and-play.

Unrivalled Performance & Design

• Ultra-Compact 60% Minimalist Layout

  • Strips away the numeric keypad, home cluster, and dedicated function row to retain just the core 61 keys.

  • Secondary controls (arrow keys, media playback, F-row functions) remain accessible instantly via the FN key layer.

  • Benefit: Unlocks massive desk real estate, letting you position your keyboard at an aggressive slant and sweep your mouse freely without clipping plastic edges.

• Smooth Linear Red Switches

  • Equipped with light, linear red mechanical switches featuring a low actuation force (~40–45g) and linear travel.

  • Produces a quiet, smooth keystroke with no tactile bump or distracting high-pitch click.

  • Problem Solved: Eliminates the finger fatigue caused by heavy switches during long sessions, providing fast, fluid inputs ideal for rapid double-taps and stealthy late-night gaming.

• Hot-Swappable 3-Pin Switch Sockets

  • Features a hot-swap PCB compatible with 3-pin mechanical switches (including Outemu, Akko, and compatible variants).

  • Includes a combination keycap/switch puller in the box for effortless maintenance.

  • Benefit: Swap damaged switches in seconds or customize specific clusters (like WASD or Spacebar) with different switch weights without picking up a soldering iron.

• Detachable L-Shaped USB-C Cable

  • Powered by a high-grade detachable USB-C to USB-A cable with a side-facing, angled connector.

  • Ensures a secure, wobble-free port connection that hugs the keyboard frame cleanly.

  • Problem Solved: Prevents bent pins and cable fraying during travel. Pack the keyboard easily into a backpack or swap in custom coiled aviator cables with zero hassle.

• Vibrant Backlighting & Side Ambient Accents

  • Outfitted with multi-mode preset lighting effects alongside side-edge ambient light strips.

  • Adjust lighting brightness, animation speed, and cycle color modes on the fly directly via hotkeys.

  • Benefit: Enhances key visibility in dark rooms and complements your peripheral theme with an eye-catching, modern glow.

• Full N-Key Rollover & Anti-Ghosting

  • True 100% anti-ghosting matrix ensures every simultaneous key actuation registers accurately.

  • Supports reliable zero-latency data transmission over high-speed USB.

  • Problem Solved: Eliminates dropped keystrokes and signal blocking during complex multi-key inputs, weapon combos, and rapid movement maneuvers.

• Dedicated Redragon Pro Software Support

  • Download the official customization suite to remap key bindings, set up complex multi-action macros, and design personalized lighting schemes.

  • Save configured profiles directly to internal memory for seamless use across different setups.

  • Benefit: Reclaim missing layout shortcuts with custom single-key macros, tailoring the compact deck to match your exact everyday workflow.
